City of Barstow General Plan 2048
The City of Barstow General Plan is a comprehensive planning document that encompasses various topics, establishing goals and policies to guide decision-makers and the community toward its vision of creating a better Barstow for everyone.
The City of Barstow last updated its General Plan in 2015, which extended through 2020. As our community prepares for change, an updated General Plan will help guide growth in a manner that supports a shared vision for the future.
Every city in California is required by state law to adopt a General Plan that contains goals and policies cohesive with the community’s vision of its future and enhances the use of available resources.
Please see the City of Barstow’s General Plan Fact Sheet here, City of Barstow General Plan Fact Sheet , for more details.

City of Barstow
We would like the City of Barstow to consider taking over control of the Barstow Cemetery to provide quality services for our loved ones and the Barstow Community.
Best Regards
Jerry & Denise…
The Barstow Cemetery District is not with the City limits of Barstow. Keep in mind the cemetery is not taxpayer funded as you may find with some other districts.
Please find attached the LAFCo Report indicating the possible recommendation for the city of Barstow to officially takeover operation of the Barstow Cemetery.
